ACADEMIC INFORMATION

GRADING

Grading for all courses are calculated as follows:

Tests and Examinations

For testing or the sitting of examinations, grades will be calculated on the correctness of the answers given in respect of the questions asked. The student will be graded on their own ability to answer the questions given and will not be measured on a curve against fellow students.

Personal Papers and Book Reports

Personal papers and book reports contain mostly personal insights and subjective material. Students are assessed on their personal performance and are not measured on a curve against fellow students. Grades are given by the instructor based on the following criteria:

    Presentation and neatness.
Personal insights and attitude changes reflecting spiritual growth.

Theological Papers

Theological papers are assessed on the students grasp of subject matter, use of of scripture,  and the ability to explain their research and conclusions in a mature, biblically sound and logical manner.

Note:  All work presented is expected to be fundamentally biblically sound. However, students will not be penalized if their papers do not fully agree with the personal opinions of a tutor or course writer, but rather on how well a point is proven by the use of scripture.

Final grades will be calculated on the following scale:
